Jilux is a Swedish design brand from Jönköping, with a passion for form, light and thoughtful details.
We create timeless and elegant lamps with a focus on quality, durability and innovative design technology.

We manufacture and design unique lighting fixtures with a focus on
minimalist and modern aesthetics, where each product is created to function both
as a light source and a work of art.
By combining form and function
With Scandinavian design tradition, we want to make the lamp a central part of the interior.
Our lamps should fit into different homes and environments and be the detail that ties the room together.
Behind Jilux
Helena and Jimmy started the company out of a shared passion for design and interior design.
Together we have many years of experience in construction, design and product development – where idea, function and manufacturing always need to interact.
With that experience as a foundation, we develop our own products with great care.
Each lamp starts with an idea and is refined through sketches, construction, prototypes and testing until every detail feels well thought out.
For us, design is about more than just the visual. It's about how the lamp is experienced in the room, how the light falls, and how form, material, and function together create a product that lasts over time.

Sustainability
We develop all products according to the Ecodesign method.
Ecodesign is both a principle and an approach.
It consists of integrating environmental protection criteria throughout a product's life cycle. The main objective of ecodesign is to anticipate and minimize the negative environmental impact of the manufacture, use and disposal of products.
Aluminum is a central material in Jilux design lamps.
This gives us the opportunity to create thin, precise shapes with high quality and long life.
Our aluminium comes from Italy, where the supplier has committed to using 100% low-carbon aluminium in its primary aluminium supply. The aluminium has a specified carbon intensity of no more than 6 tonnes CO₂e per tonne of primary aluminium, which is significantly lower than the global average.
For us, material selection is an important part of product development.
All our manufacturing takes place in Sweden and Europe, and we continuously work to develop our products with a focus on quality, longevity and responsible material selection.
Quality & safety
Our products are certified according to CE marking and comply with the European directives RoHS and REACH.
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Restricts hazardous substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium in electronics. By complying with RoHS, we ensure that our lamps are free of harmful substances that can pollute the environment and affect human health.
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals)
Ensures that no unauthorized chemicals are used in our products. We require test reports on all components to guarantee that our fixtures are safe to use.
